Sandra McNeely
 Sandra Shirk McNeely has twenty years’ experience as a financial analyst, manager, and leadership consultant to nonprofits. Having served herself in senior management positions and on several boards of directors, Sandra has expertise in strategic planning and board development. “I help divided boards reach consensus on mission and program priorities in view of limited financial capacity,” she said. From that point she leads or coaches executives and key staff in executing a strategic plan that achieves the organization goals within budget.
Sandra’s ability to focus on developing a strategic plan with measurable goals and actions has brought great results for her Abbey Group clients. Sandra has worked with:

In her own executive career, Sandra has led national and international membership associations in the sports/entertainment industries. She served as assistant executive director at the Girl Scouts of Milwaukee Area, the largest council in the State of Wisconsin. Her focus in that position was product sales, fund development, and operations.
Sandra also served as director of the Center for Family Business at Marquette University, consulting to family business owners. These businesses range in size from 10 to more than 1,000 employees with annual revenues ranging from $2,000,000 to more than $100,000,000. Sandra continues to work with associations and closely held businesses in the areas of planning and succession.
Sandra serves on the board of directors for the Rapid City Public Library and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills. She is past president of the Girl Scouts of Milwaukee Area, past president of the Counseling Center of Milwaukee, past president and board member of TEMPO International, and past board member of TEMPO, a woman’s professional organization based in Milwaukee.
